We absolutely loved visiting with Sally Kintz and touring her downtown-Hannibal business, Poole Communications. She generously shared her story and engaged with us about our own, pouring from a fountain of experience. She gave us start-up advice, marketing advice, hiring advice, networking advice, and growth advice! There were a lot of takeaways worth remembering:

*Don't surround yourself with "yes" people.
*Learn from other people's failures.
*Always overcommunicate and be kind.
*Embrace truth. Then you can do something with it.
*There is no such thing as "one size fits all." Know your audience.
*It's ok to butt heads. You will learn from different perspectives.
